Rotting Christ’s Kata Ton Daimona Eaftou is the Best Album You Will Stream This Week

You guys: Kata Ton Daimona Eaftou, Rotting Christ’s new album is so, so good. Trust me on this one — Uncle Vince always knows best, and Uncle Vince says you should listen to this album right now at Metal Underground because you are definitely going to like it. It’s kinda black metal-ish (emphasis on the kinda) but it’s way too well-produced, clearly mixed, harmonically complex and stylistically diverse to really be considered part of that genre. It’s also kinda melodic death metal-y, but it’s equal parts doom, classic metal and thrash too. Sub-genre pigeonholing aside, the songs are incredibly memorable which is the most important thing of all, because without good songs we ain’t got squat.

Stream it right now. The album comes out today and can be ordered right here through Season of Mist. Sammy ‘O Hagar gave it 3.5 out of 5 horns in the official MetalSucks review, but IMO he underrated it!
