TesseracT Are Making a 51-Minute Animated Video to Accompany Their New Album

Tesseract - Altered State

TesseracT have been extremely coy about their new album Altered State other than to issue a bunch of press release with information about the album and a couple of two-minute song samples. I suppose it’s difficult to release music from an album that’s one continuous 51-minute piece, but c’mon, I wanna hear a significant portion of what this thing actually sounds like already! Our own Shanbomb has listened to it quite a bit, though, and we’ll be running his review in the coming days, so stay tuned for that.

This latest bit of info is really interesting, however: TesseracT are working on an animated video to accompany the album’s music, all 51 minutes of it. From TesseracT’s Twitter, via Heavy Blog:

So that’s pretty damn cool. Metal bands these days rarely take on such ambitious projects, but I’m not surprised at all that TesseracT would be the band to grab the bull by the horns. I’m looking forward to seeing this… hopefully the music’s good, too.

Altered State comes out on May 28th.
