Psy is a “Djentleman”

By now you have probably heard “Gentleman,” the follow-up to Korean rapper Psy’s 2012 mega-hit “Gangnam Style.” If you haven’t, it’s not quite as catchy or ridiculous, but it’s still a good time.

So, naturally, some enterprising young… errr, gentlemen… from Boy In A Band have already capitalized on the song’s success (Psy’s original has 122 million YouTube views since its April 13 release!) by having some pun with the song’s name and creating a djent rendition of it. They’ve cleverly used the opportunity not to be all serious-metal-cover-like, but to poke fun at djent’s own ridiculousness and ubiquity. Sample lyric: “We’re packin’ heat, and I’m drop G / I carry a guitar here / wooden body hey / I’m playing MESHUGAHHHH.” Watch:
