“Fault Line”: Listen to the Sure-to-be-Overrated New August Burns Red Single

August Burns Red - Rescue & Restore

Last week, when August Burns Red released the cover art for their new album, Rescue & Restore, so many people flocked to the Solid State Records website to see it that the site crashed.

So I can only imagine what the band actually releasing new music will do. Probably break the entirety of the internet.

The music in question is a song called “Fault Line,” which, in all honesty, I do not think is terrible. I mean, there’s absolutely nothing about it that we haven’t heard 800,867,410 times before in, like, EVERY OTHER METALCORE SONG EVER RECORDED, but I “get it.” I understand the appeal. It’s certainly superior to most other crap out there — hell, it’s superior to most other ABR I’ve heard before. I just don’t know that it’s worth stampeding Walmart employees to death over, figuratively speaking.

Rescue & Restore comes out June 25. You can now pre-order it here, assuming the goddamn website is working.
