McDade Benefit Show

Last month, stoner/doom riffmasters Behold! The Monolith suffered a horrible loss when their bassist/vocalist, Kevin McDade, died in a tragic car accident. Now three great New York bands — East of the Wall, Family, and Tidal Arms — have announced that they’re teaming up next week to play a benefit show for McDade at St. Vitus in Brooklyn.  (According to Ticketfly, Cavallo are also on the bill, although I’m note sure if that’s accurate or not.)

These bands are all really, really great live, and even if this show weren’t for a good cause, it would still be worth attending. The fact that the proceeds will benefit those McDade has left behind makes the cake that much sweeter.

Get tickets here. They’re only ten bucks!!!
