Someone Stole DJ Lethal’s MTV VMA Moonman Statue
Leor Dimant, beloved by tens of people across his payroll as “DJ Lethal” of Limp Bizkit and House of Pain fame, has posted the following on his Facebook page:
What I want to know is, what are Las Vegas authorities doing to track down this most prestigious of all music-video-but-not-actual-music award? Have they shut down the airports, train stations, and bus stations? Have photographs of the missing item been issued to the Mexican border patrol? Has anyone questioned Blake Judd for an alibi? When is President Obama going to take the air to address the nation and reassure us that this is all going to be okay? I mean, Coolio’s MTV VMA Moonman for his 90s megahit “Gangsta’s Paradise” sold at auction last year for $6,080, and DJ Lethal is the third most famous former member of a band that was really popular more than a decade ago, so, y’know, this shit ain’t no joke. WHO CARES ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN??? I WANT DJ LETHAL’S MOONMAN LOCATED RIGHT NOW, GODDAMNIT!!!
