Watch This Full Cave In Live Set From 2002

Cave In - JupiterRaise your hand if Jupiter is your favorite Cave In album!

You’ve probably already pressed play, but just in case: the below video was filmed at North Six in Brooklyn (now Music Hall of Williamsburg) on March 1, 2002 on the Jupiter touring cycle. The band was tour tight, totally killing it and at their absolute best, amped up and enjoying life. About six months later they’d release the Tides of Tomorrow stop-gap EP on Hydra Head and almost exactly a year after this show they’d release Antenna, their MCA records debut and finale. “Woodwork,” “Lost In the Air” and “Inspire” from the latter had already worked their way into Cave In’s live setlist, pasted below.

Cave In posted this video yesterday afternoon on their Facebook page [via Metal Insider]. I’d say it’s just a bit of good old fashioned nostalgia based on some of the other posts they’ve made lately, but it sure would be neat if Cave In were contemplating a tour on which they played Jupiter in full. Just sayin’!

For those interested, there’s a full Cave In set from the 2003 Hultsfred Festival in Sweden that recently made its way onto YouTube as well. More Antenna stuff.

Here’s the North Six show from 2002 with the setlist posted below:

Jupiter
Innuendo And Out The Other
Woodwork
Lost In The Air
Lift Off
Brain Candle
Rubber And Glue
In The Stream Of Commerce
