Mutoid Man are Gonna Lay Waste to the Road

Mutoid Man are one of seven excellent bands playing the fourth annual South by South Death MetalSucks SXSW showcase this year. Huzzah! We couldn’t be more excited to see the band — which features Cave In’s Stephen Brodsky, Ben Koller of Converge / All Pigs Must Die, and Nick Cageao of Brooklyn outfit Bröhammer — tear through songs from their most excellent 2013 debut album Helium Head, which you can stream in full right here.

But SXSW drunk pieces of shit revelers aren’t the only ones who’ll get to see the band play live this March: Mutoid Man have announced a string of dates starting in San Francisco and leading down to Austin, and since I don’t believe any of the three members live in Austin I have to imagine there’ll be a few more announced pretty soon.
