Embroiderycore: Throne’s Video for “Tharsis Sleeps” May Be the Coolest Thing You See All Week

This gives whole new meaning to the term “vest metal.”

The doomsters in Throne have released a new video for their track “Tharsis Sleeps,” and to call it “impressive” might be the understatement of the year. According to Junkculture, each frame of each shot was individually embroidered, which director Nicos Livesey admits “completely ruined any kind of social life” he had, adding, “This [was] the most ridiculously stupid idea.” But I’d argue his severe sacrifice was totally worth it — ain’t nobody gonna forget this video anytime soon.
