Slash Gets “30 Years to Life”
Slash and his band, Myles Kennedy & The Not Guns N’ Roses, debuted a new song called “Thirty Years to Life” during a recent performance in New Hampshire. Because might as well give one of the first states one of the first songs from Slash’s new album, World on Fire. Or something.

ANYWAY, I like it! It’s nothing we haven’t heard Slash do before — in fact, the beginning and the end are pretty much just a straight-up recycle of “Paradise City” — but it’s catchy. I definitely think it’s a helluva lot better than the World on Fire title track. This shoulda been the first single.
World on Fire comes out September 15.
