Listen to (and Watch!) “Frozen,” the Second New Sanctuary Track in 25 Years

  • Axl Rosenberg

When Sanctuary released “Arise and Purify,” their first new song in twenty-five years, Vince noted that “perhaps the most surprising thing [about the song] is how much [it] sounds like Nevermore.” Well, ditto for “Frozen,” the second new Sanctuary song in the past twenty-five years.

But, hey, I’m not complaining — I’m a way bigger fan of Nevermore than I ever was of Sanctuary, and “Frozen” is both catchy as hell and the kind of song which will involuntarily compel the listener to contort their hands into big ol’ hairy invisible nuts. I approve.

Check out “Frozen” via the below music video. It will appear on Sanctuary’s new album, The Year The Sun Died, which comes out on October 6 via Century Media.
