Michael Keene Says The Faceless’ New Album is “Almost Done”

phil hoffman the facelessThe wait in-between The Faceless’ second and third albums, Planetary Duality and Autotheism, was so long I felt like I was going through heroin withdrawal. (It was really only four years, but given how much touring The Faceless did and how many times I saw them play nearly-identical set lists after Duality, it felt like eight.) And when Authotheism finally came out, it was so goddamn good that I became a junkie all over again… and that was more than two years ago. Commence unbearable craving for my next fix!!!

So, good news for everyone who, like me, is totally addicted. The band’s general mastermind (and, as of this writing, sole remaining member), Michael Keene, has tweeted the following:

The Zenith Passage are rad, so we’ll consider that icing on the cake. But really, it’s a new album by The Faceless that I want to inject into my veins ASAP. Hopefully, this is also means that Keene has put together a new line-up, whether that line-up includes any former members or not.
