New Swallow the Sun Song Will Shatter Your Heartstrings

Swallow the Sun have got balls. BIG balls. How big, you ask? Well, it’s a challenge for even the most revered of bands to make a double album and not have it feel like excess — so often, it feels like one album and a whole lotta filler — but Swallow the Sun are about to release a TRIPLE album, Songs from the North I, II, & III. I haven’t heard Songs from the North I, II, OR III yet, so I can’t tell you whether or not they pulled it off. But, again: the BALLS on these dudes!

The band has now released one of these 286 songs from the north, “Heartstrings Shattering.” It sounds like Swallow the Sun. Which is to say… if you’re a fan of this band (and I am!), then you’re probably down for three albums worth of stuff like this, and if you’re not a fan of this band, then you’re probably not down for three albums worth of stuff like this. Simple enough, right?
