Issues Protest Police Brutality With Terrible Rap-Djent Song “Blue Wall”

Let’s go ahead and file this one under “Things that should have never been done, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever.”

Issues have dropped a new song called “Blue Wall” about police brutality, and while normally that subject matter would be fine considering how big of an issue police brutality is in the good ol’ U.S. of A., for some reason Issues once again decided that what this super djenty track needed was a turntable and some rapping. My thoughts on this can be summed up by this scene from Metalocalypse:

Will somebody please remind Issues what year it is? The saddest part is that the instrumentals on the song are super catchy, but then the turntable and rapping come in. It’s like watching a bird shit on your favorite statue, except the statue is your face and the bird is a cow. Whatever, maybe if you were an old school Linkin Park fan who really wished the band wrote heavier music then this song will please you, but I suspect everyone else won’t even make it halfway through.

If you like terrible rap djent, you’ll be pleased to know that Headspace drops May 20 via Rise Records.
