Ozzy Osbourne is Going Off the Rails of a Crazy Tram

Finally, some good news for Ozzy Osbourne!

Birmingham’s prodigal son will return to his hometown this Thursday to witness the final tests for a Midland Metro tram which will be named in his honor.

Sez The Ozzman:

“It’s a great honour to have a new tram named after me, I’m proud to be a Brummie and this means so much.”

Which is a boring quote, but in his defense, what the fuck can you say about having a tram named after you?

ANYWAY, I didn’t even know trams had names. I didn’t know any public transportation vehicles had names, come to think of it. Did I unknowingly enjoy subway rides to Brooklyn and Queens upon the Peter Steele and Scott Ian? Is this specifically a British thing? What am I missing?
