John Carpenter and Rob Zombie Have “Buried the Hatchet”

Given the popularity of the story, you are probably already aware that earlier this week, John Carpenter called Rob Zombie a “piece of shit” while discussing Zombie’s remake of Halloween with a group of film students.

Well, I dunno what happened, but it appears that Carpenter and Zombie are now on good terms again:

To everyone fascinated with the JC/RZ feud, old news. We spoke Sunday, we buried the hatchet. Let's move on.

This all screams “politics!” to me, but out of respect for Carpenter, one of my favorite filmmakers of all time, I am, indeed, going to move on.
