Anthrax Hosting NYC Bar Crawl in Celebration of “Wardance” Beer

0

Didja hear? With the launch of their Wardance brew — a 5.5% ABV pale ale made by the Butternuts brewery — Anthrax join the likes of Killswitch Engage, Deftones, Motorhead, Megadeth, Behemoth (x3) and many, many other metal bands to get in on the red-hot trend of metal bands releasing their own beers.

And now they’re inviting fans to celebrate the beer’s release along with them. Those in the NYC area (and beyond, if you’re so inclined) are invited to join members of the band and Butternuts owner and head brewer Chuck Williamson for a bar crawl at five different NYC establishments to throw back a few pints and mingle. The event will take place between 6pm and 1am on Tuesday, March 28th, at the following bars:

6:00 – 7:00PM – Daddy-O – 44 Bedford Street
7:30 – 8:30 PM – Half Pint – 76 W. 3rd Street
9:10 – 10:10PM – One Mile House – 10 Delancey Street
10:30 – 11:30PM – Top Hops – 94 Orchard Street
11:45 – ?? – RMP Bar After Party – 266 Broome Street

Top Hops will also have six-packs of cans available for purchase.

Those interested in attending should RSVP here. Admission is free, and you’ll be able to purchase as many pints of Wardance as your belly desires.

The very next day, March 29th, Anthrax will kick off their spring tour with Killswitch Engage; dates here.
