Judas Priest Enter the Studio to Create More Rock

0

Looks like Judas Priest are back in the studio, this time with a team of awesome producers/engineers at their disposal: Black Sabbath producer Mike Exeter (13), long-time Judas Priest engineer Tom Allom, and the legendary Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Fear Factory, Carcass).

Is it just coincidental that this news is coming hot on the heels of a recent troll statement by Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds? Maybe… or perhaps they’re setting out to prove that they’re worthy of the “metal gods” title. Naw, I’m joking; they’re obviously the pinnacle of classic metal, and they don’t need to prove shit.

Priest were initially supposed to enter the studio back in January but apparently something got in the way. Not a big deal, at least they’re consecutively releasing new material and not just living off an 11-year-old greatest hits catalog like some other bands that will remain nameless. *Cough* Tool *Cough*.

Good on ’em. We’ll see how this release matches up to 2014s Redeemer of Souls. Only time will tell.
