Arcadea (Featuring Members of Mastodon and Withered) Continue to Get Weird with New Song and Video for “Army of Electrons”

Arcadea, the project featuring Mastodon’s Brann Dailor, Withered’s Raheem Amlani, and Zruda’s Core Atoms, have released another new song, “Army of Electrons.” Like the previously released “Infinite End,” the track is basically synthwave with real drums and vocals. Parts of it could be the score to a b-movie. Parts of it will make you wanna boogie. And parts of it will make you think you’re having an acid flashback.

That last sensation may be especially overwhelming if you watch the track’s trippy-as-hell music video, which Atoms himself directed. In fact, if you told me Atoms conceived the video while tripping balls, I’d completely believe you.

Check out “Army of Electrons” below. Arcadea’s eponymous debut comes out June 16 on Relapse, and can be pre-ordered here.
