Anthrax Say They Are Not Touring with Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill

So, hey, remember yesterday when there was that rumor that Anthrax were gonna tour with Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill next year, and I was all, “I’m obligated to advise you to take this rumor with a grain of salt until it’s confirmed… but given that one date has already leaked out, I’d be pretty surprised if it turned out this tour wasn’t a really real thing”?

You see where I’m going with this right?

From Anthrax’s Facebook page:

“Hey guys – we’ve been reading about this tour that we’re supposed to be doing next year with Suicidal Tendencies and Overkill. While we love all those guys, we have no plans to tour together next year.

“We’ve got all kinds of GREAT things that we’re planning for 2018, but this tour is not one of them.

“Anthrax”

Interestingly enough, 5gig.com, the site that initially reported the three bands would be playing together at the Anaheim House of Blues in April, still has that show listed. So either they’re wrong or the show is a one-off. Or, I suppose, Anthrax are lying, although I don’t see why they’d lie.

So. Anyway. Sorry if you’re bummed.

This may or may not help: Anthrax’s new video for “In the End.” Yes, the song — a tribute to Dio and Dimebag as well an ode to receiving oral sex from a star — is from 2011’s Worship Music, not last year’s For All Kings. I’m not really sure why they decided to release a video now, but I feel strongly that this is the best track from either of the Belladonna reunion albums, so I ain’t complainin’. Enjoy:
