Good Tiger Release New Song, “The Devil Thinks I’m Sinking,” Announce New Album

0

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Good Tiger, so let me refresh you on the band’s stellar lineup: ex-Tesseract vocalist Elliot Coleman, ex-The Safety Fire guitarists Derya Nagle and Joaquin Ardiles, ex-The Faceless drummer Alex Rüdinger, and bassist Morgan Sinclair (ex-touring guitarist for Architects).

If you’re a prog dork you already knew all that, though, so hey, welcome back! Good Tiger have a new album, We Will All Be Gone, coming at the top of 2018, with a new single called “The Devil Thinks I’m Sinking” out now. Stream it below.

Prog dorks might be a bit disappointed to learn that the new effort is a bit less proggy, though: “The Devil Thinks I’m Sinking” is as straight-forward as anything the band’s done. And that’s OK! Good Tiger definitely toed the poppy line on their debut album, and they’re fully embracing it here. This is what they should be doing; it suits them!

We Will All Be Gone comes out on February 9th, 2018 via Metal Blade; pre-order it here. Tour dates at the bottom of this post.
