Periphery’s Spencer Sotelo Unveils New Project, Endur

If you, like me, really enjoyed Spencer Sotelo’s contribution to Periphery’s 2014 Clear EP — on which each member of the band wrote one song — then you, like me, will be excited by this news: Sotelo has launched a new project, Endur, which is very much in the style of his Clear contribution, “The Parade of Ashes.” Which is to say, it’s heavy, it’s angry, it rocks, and it incorporates a bunch of electronic elements. Think of as Nine Inch Sotelo: it’s industrial, and it has a name as though it were a band even though there’s only one member.

Endur’s debut album, American Parasite, will be released October 27 on Sumerian… but you can check out the first single, “Death Angel,” below. As I said before, if you enjoyed “The Parade of Ashes,” you will likely enjoy this.  Listen:
