Former A Life Once Lost Vocalist Returns with Left to Vanish

  • Axl Rosenberg

Having already released an EP with grindcore wrecking crew Oldbones this past summer, former A Life Once Lost frontman Bob Meadows returns again now with another new project, Left to Vanish. And while I thought Oldbones was fucking great, if you were hoping for something a little more in the vein of ALOL, you’re likely to prefer Left to Vanish, whose music is much more in the Meshuggah-as-metalcore style of Meadows’ old band. Very much: no disrespect to anyone in Left to Vanish, but I’d wager you could convince someone their new single, “Simple Banter,” was A Life Once Lost.

Check out “Simple Banter” and below and see for yourself! If you dig it, it will appear on Left to Vanish’s Dethroned, which comes out December 17 on Creep Records. Pre-order it here.
