Metallica and Vans Announce New Line of Sneakers
As the great Axl Rosenberg once stated, “Why make one buck when you can make two?” Or three, or four, or…
Metallica have never been shy about their buck-earning potential, having released not one but two collaborative sneaker editions with Vans back in 2012 (amongst a ton of other branded merch over the years). And now they’ll endeavor to keep those bucks a-flowin’ with a third line of Vans set to come out tomorrow (February 16th) via the band’s official store and all Vans retail locations.
The latest Metallica x Vans combo will feature two types of sneakers: the Sk8-Hi Reissue and the Classic Slip-On, both in all-black with the classic Metallica logo in the “glitch” style features on their latest album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct adorning the shoes in white. A t-shirt and trucker hat will also be part of the series, because more bucks!
All kidding aside, these designs actually look pretty sharp. I dig the simplicity. I might even wear that trucker hat!
No word yet on many bucks these pups will cost, but we’re sure they won’t be cheap. Update us if you find out at news[at]metalsucks.net.
