Tool Have Finally Officially Begun Recording Their New Album for Real

What’s the difference between the release of the new Tool album and the second coming of Jesus Christ?

One of them may actually occur in our lifetime.

4,331 days after the release of 10,000 Days, the band has FINALLY entered the studio to record new music, according to this Instagram post from guitarist Adam Jones:

Of course, that doesn’t tell us anything important, like whether or not the album will really, truly be out this year, or how it will sound. But still. Jesus Christ hasn’t even so much as hinted at activity on social media, so I’d call this a win.
