70,000 Tons of Metal Announces The Black Dahlia Murder, Warbringer, Accept, Eluveitie and More for 2019 Cruise
Update, September 1, 2018, 9:59pm EDT:
Gloryhammer, Tiamat and Coroner have been added to the lineup.
As I write this, the metal cruise 70,000 Tons of Metal, which will embark on its ninth annual expedition in January, is in the process of unveiling the first wave of lineup announcements via its Facebook page. They’re releasing one band name every hour or two, and I need to go to fucking bed and I’m assuming this thing will continue throughout the night… but here’s who’s been announced so far, in order:
Subway to Sally
The Black Dahlia Murder
No big-deal headliners have been named yet (last year’s were Meshuggah and Cannibal Corpse), but we’re sure the folks behind the cruise have some tricks up their collective sleeve. Is the lineup so far enough for you to buy your ticket and book flights already?
I’ll update the above list tomorrow morning if more bands are announced overnight.
I went on last year’s cruise and had a fucking blast. Here’s a little video highlight reel I made of the experience:
