Coheed and Cambria Release New Song “Old Flames”

0

Coheed and Cambria have released several singles from their forthcoming album The Unheavenly Creatures to date. So far we’ve gotten “The Dark Sentencer,” “Unheavenly Creatures,” and “The Gutter,” and today we get “Old Flames,” a week out from the album’s release. With four singles in Coheed fans’ ears already it’s a pretty safe assumption that you can make up your mind on whether you’ll dig The Unheavenly Creatures on the whole or not.

So: what do you think? Do the album’s four singles give you everything you want and need from Coheed? Do they leave you feeling like the band has fallen short this time around?

The Unheavenly Creatures comes out October 5, and can be pre-ordered here. Catch the band on tour this fall with Maps & Atlases and Thank You Scientist.

Also worth noting: praise be Jeebus to Roadrunner Records for releasing all of these singles on Thursdays instead of Fridays, thereby not making the Friday job duties of bloggers even more hectic than they already are. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ross Anderson! Beers on me next time.
