Albuquerque’s Mayor Signed a Bill While Wearing a Pantera Sweater
Tim Keller, the 30th mayor of Albuquerque, NM, has made quite a to-do of his predilection for metal. The day after he was sworn into office he introduced Trivium in front of a roaring crowd, and last year he did the same for Anthrax, proclaiming “I believe in the power of metal!”
Keller’s latest vulgar display of metal: donning a Pantera sweater while signing a bill. According to the Albuquerque Journal, the bill grants 12 weeks of paid parental leave to all municipal employees. The sweater was gifted to Keller by Rex Brown, who is a resident of New Mexico.
