“1-800-Suicide-Nation:” This Gravediggaz x At the Gates Mash-Up is 🔥🔥🔥

Gravediggaz 1994 debut album 6 Feet Deep stands two-and-a-half-decades later as one of the best hip hop albums of all time, its gore-obsessed imagery only just now pushing its way into the modern mainstream rap lexicon. For those unaware, Gravediggaz were an all-star group of sorts that brought together Prince Paul (The Undertaker), Frukwan (The Gatekeeper), Poetic (The Grym Reaper) and RZA (The RZArector).

One year earlier, At the Gates released Slaughter of the Soul, which — we shouldn’t need to tell you — would go on to have a profound influence upon metal forever after. The band’s influence was also not widely acknowledged or recognized until way later.

From that perspective alone, it makes perfect sense that someone would mash up the former’s “1-800-Suicide” with the latter’s “Suicide Nation.” From any other vantage-point pretty much nothing about it makes sense… until you listen to it. It’s fantastic.

Check out “1-800-Suicide-Nation” below, and thank Corretja for putting together this glorious combination and for recording the entire thing from scratch.
