Wanna Know How Much Disturbed, Greta Van Fleet and Nightwish Earn to Play Shows?
Not that it should come as a surprise, but my lord, Disturbed earn a lot of money. What’s more, the listed show, in the relatively small market of San Diego, only sold about half its capacity; the band likely earns way more in bigger cities.
Great Van Fleet aren’t doing too shabby either, although it should be noted that the figures below are combined between three shows, all in New York (one of the world’s biggest markets).
That Nightwish number is eye-popping as well. That’s insane! Does the band usually pull in numbers like that, or was the below a special show?
Note that these numbers are not a wholly accurate reflection of how much money these artists take home. After the ticket numbers are in, the bands still need to pay the opening acts, cover their crew and travel expenses, share a cut with the promoter, pay their manager and booking agent, etc. On the other side of it, the numbers also don’t include any money earned from merch sales. But these Boxscore reports do provide a general idea of the earning power of each of these bands, especially relative to one another.
