Weezer’s output post-Pinkerton has been… um… let’s say a mixed bag. Still, this Saturday Night Live sketch from last year more or less justifies their continued existence:

Offering substantially less entertainment value is Weezer’s new version of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid,” part of a surprise-release covers record, Teal Album, that just dropped. I mean, talk about a rote recreation. Good to know that if someone somehow deletes every single copy of the real “Paranoid” from the world, we have this:
