Stephen Brodsky and Marissa Nadler Release Haunting Cover of Guns N’ Roses’ “Estranged”

I cannot say enough good things about this cover of Guns N’ Roses’ “Estranged,” which was recorded by Stephen Brodsky (Cave In, Mutoid Man, Old Man Gloom, etc.) and singer/multi-instrumentalist Marissa Nadler. This is everything a cover should be: recognizable but not a rote xerox. A+++++ WDBWA.

The “Estranged” cover will part of Brodsky and Nadler’s upcoming Droneflower album, which comes out April 16 on Sacred Bones, and can be pre-ordered here. The duo also have some live dates coming up:
