Guns N’ Roses Announced for 2019 Louder Than Life Festival… More Touring Planned?

Two years ago, the announcement that Guns N’ Roses would be headlining the annual Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY wouldn’t have raised an eyebrow. Sure, it would’ve been very exciting news for those planning to attend, but Guns N’ Roses were in the midst of their record-setting, $562 million-grossing “Not in This Lifetime” reunion tour, and yet another festival headlining date would’ve fit right in.

But Louder Than Life — which takes place across three days between September 27th and 29th at the festival’s new home,
the Highland Festival Grounds At KY Expo Center — will mark the first and only date Guns N’ Roses have announced for the entirety of 2019 so far. Bands of that size (or any size, really) don’t often go through the rigamarole of amping up their live show machinery for just one gig, although it’s certainly not unheard of. In other words: are Guns’ plotting more North American dates for 2019? It seems very likely!

Those in the Louisville area can get their tickets this coming Monday, April 8 at 9am EDT, with prices starting at $69.50 for a single day, $149.50 for a three-day pass, and the usual assortment of more expensive VIP options. The festival is planning to announce their full lineup on Monday as well, with more info available at their official website.
