Listen to 30 Seconds of New Opeth Music

0

We still don’t have an official release date for the new Opeth album, In Cauda Venenum, even though the band released the Clue-esque cover art and the track list more than a month ago. Which is a somewhat unconventional approach to promotion! It also makes it hard to guess when we’ll get to hear a single.

Silver lining: the band has just announced a buncha new European and Australian tour dates, which is exciting for fans who live in Europe and Australia… but also, the trailer for the tour features thirty seconds of music from In Cauda Venenum, which is exciting for all of us. It may not be as good as a single, but hey, it’s something.

Check out the trailer below. All of the band’s upcoming live dates are below that. I do suspect we’ll be getting that single before the end of the summer, so keep your eyes peeled.
