Auras Release Spacey Sci-Fi Video for Djenty Single, “Momenta”

Being a music lover is work. There’s genres to keep up with, thousands of songs to download, and countless bands to discover. One day we’ll wind up with a need for 1TB of space on our phones and yet the never-ending search continues, so here I come with another track to add to your perilous pile. Canadian progressive metal act Auras have released a video for their new single, “Momenta,” to fulfill all of your chuggy, sci-fi, djenty dreams.

The video was filmed inside a space museum and looks like something straight out of a dramatic end-of-the-world sci-fi film. The track fits in flawlessly with each scene as it weaves in and out of dreamy soundscapes with its chaotic riffs. Stream the video below to watch the story unfold… and as for the ending? You’ll have to wait for the second part of this video series.

The single comes from Auras’ new album, Binary Garden, which came out last Friday, July 12th, and can be ordered here. The band is embarking on a tour this summer in support of their new LP; catch them at one of their remaining tour dates listed below the embed.
