Car Bomb’s New Song Will Leave Your Brain “Scattered”

  • Axl Rosenberg

We’ve known for a coupla months that Car Bomb would be car bombing us with a new album this year, but now we finally know what that album will be called and when it will be released: Mordial comes out September 27, self-released by the band in North America, and via Holy Roar Records in the UK and Europe! Here’s the album art:

You can celebrate the announcement with a typically mind-melting new single, “Scattered Sprites,” via the below visualizer, which takes it cues from the above art, and feels kinda like someone put the Dire Straits “Money for Nothing” video in a blender. (If you still haven’t listened to the first single, “Dissect Yourself,” I recommend you do that as well.)

Once you’ve enjoyed that, be sure to pre-order Mordial here (North America) or here (UK/Europe). The group begins a European festival run this weekend, and they’ve been added to September’s Euroblast fest as well. Get all those dates at the bottom of this post!!
