Wacken Announced Their 2020 Lineup Before 2019 Festival Had Ended

0

Everybody take note: before the 2019 edition of Wacken Open Air had even ended this past weekend, next year’s lineup had already been announced. No wonder they consistently sell out of tickets a year in advance!

Wacken 2020 looks like it’ll be headlined by Judas Priest and Amon Amarth, and will also feature some extra-special performances from Sodom (playing Agent Orange in full) and At The Gates (with a Slaughter of the Soul set). Those reveals alone should have you cutting some room into your budget for tickets, but if you need more convincing, take a gander at the flyer below:

Looks amazing, right? And maybe you noticed the styling that looks like it was pulled from Legends of the Hidden Temple (god, I miss that show). That’s because the festival will be themed after Mayan and Aztec cultures! Not just limited to aesthetics, the theme will also permeate “food, history, shows sights and sounds. All on the Holy Ground of Wacken as part of the celebration of heavy music.” Sign me the fuck up.

Tickets are on sale now — get ’em while they’re hot!
