Dragonforce’s Live Show Now Includes Oversized Arcade Games

Although it’s a complete myth that Dragonforce got big because of Guitar Hero, the band appears to have a sense of humor about the fact that people often associate them with video games. Proof: first, the band recently debuted a music video set in a Tron-like futuristic universe, and even collaborated with the Audica video game on an accompanying level (you can play it here). 

And as if that wasn’t enough, Dragonforce also recently debuted two oversized arcade games — Street Fighter and Super Space Fortress — as part of the stage set for their performance at Germany’s Elb-Riot Festival. The props, which are nearly ten feet tall, play footage from those games while the band rocks out:

I still wish they’d bring back the trampolines. But this is pretty neat, too.
