Pray for Sound Drop Instrumental Metal Jammer, “All the Days”

0

Five years ago, so taken was I with instrumental rock quartet Pray for Sound that I proclaimed them “the best instrumental metal band you’ll hear all year.”

That may’ve been an exaggeration, but to be fair, back in 2014, when this style of music was in its infancy, they probably stood a decent shot of living up to those honors!

Now there are plenty of bands that sound more or less like Pray for Sound, but on “All the Days,” the Boston-based outfit prove they’re still worthy of your (and my) attention. Guitarist Bruce Malley offers of the track:

“‘All The Days’ is the overture for the record – a high energy jam that incorporates all the sonic elements we use throughout the record in a concise way. It sets the tone and mood for the rest of the album; something that’s fun and uplifting wrapped in a guitar driven rock song.”

Listen to the track below. New album Waves comes out on November 8; pre-order here. Upcoming live dates underneath the embed.
