Video: Chris Adler Returns to the Stage with Hail!

0

Chris Adler has returned to the stage — and this time he’s not with Lamb of God.

Revolving supergroup Hail! has seen some of metal’s greatest artists teaming up to tear apart venues together. Adler is one of the metal icons on the current lineup, marking his first return to the stage since he last performed with Lamb of God over a year ago.

Joining Adler in the latest iteration of Hail! is Steve ‘Zetro’ Souza (Exodus), James Lomenzo (ex-Black Label Society, ex-Megadeth), and Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head, Vio-lence). It’s an obscenely powerful lineup guaranteed to wreak havoc wherever it goes.

Adler officially parted with Lamb of God this past July, but had already been missing from their lineup for some time, reportedly due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Wind’s of Plague’s Art Cruz, who has been filling in for Adler behind the drum kit, was eventually named the band’s new permanent skinsman.

Creator and manager of Hail!, Mark ‘Abba’ Abbattista, has stated that although Hail! has been laying low for the past few years, they have not and will never go away. Instead, he revealed they had been “Waiting for the right time to resurface and re-unleash their onslaught – and that time is now!”

Fan-filmed video of Hail! performing classics by Motörhead, Black Sabbath, and Metallica has surfaced. Watch it below:
