Dave Mustaine’s Daughter, Electra, Joins Megadeth on Stage for “Á Tout Le Monde”

0

“À Tout le Monde,” from Megadeth’s 1994 album, Youthanasia, got the re-recording treatment back in 2007 on United Abominations as a vocal duet with Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil. The song experienced something of a renaissance at the time, and for Megadeth fans of a certain vintage it is probably the version of the song, which is weird, but time is a flat circle and all that.

Megadeth are currently on tour in Europe supporting Five Finger Death Punch, Mustaine’s first shows since his throat cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment, and his daughter Electra surprised fans in Paris last night, January 28, by taking the stage for a duet on the track with her dad. Electra has her own career as a country singer now, so it’s no surprise her vocal chops were up to the task of handling Scabbia’s parts in the 2007 remake, and she did a fine job of it, the audience eating it up.

Have a look at decent-quality fan-filmed footage of the performance below.
