Judas Priest Announce 50th Anniversary Tour!

0

Judas Priest have been talking up their 50th anniversary in the press of late, with former guitarist K.K. Downing even attempting to get in on the action with a new version of the band dubbed KK’s Priest. The real deal Judas Priest have now made the next move — as if there were any doubt they’re the kings — announcing a massive U.S. tour celebrating the band’s momentous golden anniversary.

The tour will run for roughly a month and a half this coming fall hitting mostly major markets and playing at arenas and large theaters. Once it ends, the band’s already-announced European tour with Ozzy Osbourne will commence, suggesting that that run — at least for now — is still on.

The band states:

“Judas Priest are primed and ready to deliver the goods with our 50 Heavy Metal Years anniversary celebration stage show spectacular! Performing a blistering cross section of songs from our lives in metal – we can’t wait to raise horns with you again at this once in a metal lifetime event!”
