Trivium are Teasing Something Called “Catastrophist”

0

Trivium have begun teasing what fans are speculating to be a new single and album announcement, with a 45-second video trailer name-checking “Catastrophist” posted to their social media accounts this morning along with the text “2.27,” which is this coming Thursday.

With the band’s upcoming tour with Megadeth, Lamb of God and In Flames scheduled for the summer and fall, and their last album, The Sin and the Sentence, landing approximately two and a half years ago, the timing for a new record would certainly make sense.

You can watch the trailer below, which hints at a music video plot alluding to some kind of surveillance state but does not contain any new music. We will, of course, keep you up to date when February 27 arrives.
