Do you remember “Maybe It’s Time,” the 2016 power ballad from Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx’s Sixx:A.M. featuring Nikki Sixx from Mötley Crüe? I sure don’t! I’m not sure I ever even really tried to listen to the album on which it appeared, Prayers for the Blessed. If I ever did try to listen to it, I don’t remember. What can I say? I’m a busy guy.

ANYWAY, I most definitely did listen to this newly-released version of the song, because it features a cavalcade of all-star guests… specifically, Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch), Tommy Vext (Bad Wolves), Brantley Gilbert, and the band Awolnation. Proceeds from the track will be donated to Global Recovery Initiatives to help fight the ongoing opioid crisis.

Which is great and everything, but I feel like we mustn’t overlook the truly historic aspect of this recording: it unites Slash with his own personal mini-me, Dj Slashba, who is Sixx:A.M.’s regular guitarist. So. Like. WOW. Y’know?
