Radio rips of Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha’s remix of OutKast’s “B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad)” have been floating the internet since the early 2000s, but an official version of the track will finally see a proper release on an upcoming 20th anniversary edition of OutKast’s Stankonia, due out this Friday, October 30.

Outkast’s Big Boi offered of the remix, “Zack added an extra layer of grunge to a masterpiece.” His bandmate, Andre 3000, whose appreciation of heavy music is well known, added, “I’m a fan of the Rage sound so it was an honor to have them involved in a remix.”

Rage Against the Machine had a massive reunion tour booked for 2020 — despite the band’s best efforts, scalpers scooped up a LOT of the tickets, angering fans — before the coronavirus pandemic put a halt to those plans. Those shows have been rebooked for 2021.

You can check out Zack’s remix below and get your hands on a vinyl reissue of Stankonia here.
