Trump Supporter Chris Jericho (Fozzy) Thinks the Winner of the Election Should Have Been Called by Now; The Internet Disagrees

The narrative the Trump campaign has been trying to sell for weeks, if not months, is that presidential elections are always decided the same night they conclude, and if that were not to happen, it would somehow indicate fraud on the part of Biden and the Democrats. In keeping with Trump SOP, this is total bullshit. Elections are not always decided within 24 hours, and the process of counting votes for this election was always going to take longer because of the overwhelming number of absentee ballots (remember, we’re in the middle of a pandemic).

Trump’s emphasis on that narrative is getting louder and louder as it appears more and more, knock on wood, that he may have lost the election. So, of course, his supporters are now parroting the Very Stable Genius’ fiction.

One of those supporter-parrots (supparrots?) is Chris Jericho. The Fozzy frontman hasn’t just questioned why it’s taking so long to decide the election… he’s had the gall — THE FUCKING GALL — to claim he’s “not a political person” despite being chummy with Donald Trump Jr. and, perhaps even more tellingly, having donated $3,000 dollars to Trump’s campaign during the month of October.

Needless to say, the Internet wasn’t having it.
