Korn on Fieldy’s Hiatus: “Health and Family Always Comes First”

Korn have issued a concise statement in support of bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu.

Fieldy announced yesterday that he’ll be sitting out the band’s summer tour with Staind in order to deal “with some personal issues that at times have caused me to fall back on some of my bad habits and has caused some tension with the people around me.”

“Jonathan, Munky, Ray and Head, I love you and I don’t want to bring any tension or bad vibes to the circle,” Fieldy wrote in a statement on social media.

Korn have now re-posted that statement to their own social media accounts, along with this brief message:

“We love and support our brother, Fieldy. Health and family always comes first.⁣”

The last time Fieldy sat out a Korn tour was in 2017, when he was temporarily replaced by Tye Trujillo, the then-twelve-year-old son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo.

No fill-in has been announced for this go-round as of yet.
