Exclusive Full-Album Stream: The Extinction of You by Zealot R.I.P. (Darkest Hour, Pig Destroyer, etc.)

We started the summer thinking the pandemic was nearly over, ended it with Biblical-level weather disasters, and managed to fit multiple international crises in-between. And while there’s no way that the members of Zealot R.I.P. — Mike Schleibaum (Darkest Hour), Blake Harrison (Pig Destroyer), Jason Hamacher (Frodus, Battery, CombatWoundedVeteran), and Peter Tsouras (Fairweather) — could have known that the world would be in a deeply-terrifying place when they scheduled a September 10 release for their new album, The Extinction of You, they say that great artists can often read the ether. It makes us wonder if the band ever considered calling the record The Extinction of All of Us.

Make no mistake: The Extinction of You is, indeed, the perfect soundtrack for The End Times. Feculent, furious, and downright uncivilized, The Extinction of You isn’t an album for optimists who always see the best in people and believe it’s darkest before the dawn; it’s for the realists who comprehend the severity of our current situation, and who are so goddamn angry about it that rage has turned into an unmanned hose spraying vitriol in all directions. We simply cannot recommend it highly enough.

So as you can imagine, MetalSucks is stoked to be streaming The Extinction of You in its entirety RIGHT NOW! You can check it out below. Like we said, the album comes out this Friday, September 10 on Three One G Records. Pre-order it here!!!
