Ice Nine Kills Release New Resident Evil-Themed Track “Rainy Day”

Ice Nine Kills continue their tradition of awful horror-IP-inspired scenecore today with the release of “Rainy Day.” This one was inspired by Resident Evil; I assume the title has something to do with the Umbrella Corporation from that franchise.

This is probably the least-irritating Ice Nine Kills song to date, though, because it’s not like they can do any more damage to Resident Evil than Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson have already done.

You can check out the song via the music video below, which features appearances by Bill Moseley from all the Rob Zombie movies, Ricky Dean Logan (a.k.a. the dude with the hearing aid in Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare), and New Years Day’s Ash Costello as what I believe is the world’s first scene zombie.

Ice Nine Kills’ new album, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, which comes out via Fearless on October 15.
