Jason Bieler (Saigon Kick) Drops New Song and Video, “Human Head”

0

Founding Saigon Kick guitarist / producer / songwriter / solo artist Jason Bieler has made good on his promise to put out more new material this year following the absolutely delightful Songs for the Apocalypse, which came out just last winter.

“Human Head” serves as a tease of sorts for Bieler’s next album, which is still in the works. It features a return guest appearance by Andee Blacksugar (KMFDM, Peter Murphy, and Blondie) while Vincent Marcone, from My Pet Skeleton, created the lyric video, along with editing and effects help from Robert Merrick.

Jason had this to say about the track, which features his trademark harmonized vocals over an armada of layered acoustic guitars:

“I think of it as a southern gothic, Korean pop, fall-themed soundscape full of darkness and melody, a real toe-tapper (providing you tap your toe to Stephen King stories.) I truly hope you enjoy it, more new music is on the way!

“XoXo,
The Baron”

Give it a spin below and stay tuned for info on Bieler’s next record, slated for early 2022.

Bieler will be performing some limited live shows with vocalist Jeff Scott Soto later this month and next:
